Official and street rates, per call
Eight African currency pairs against the US dollar: KES, NGN, GHS, TZS, UGX, ZAR, EGP, and RWF. For Nigeria and Ghana it also serves the street (parallel-market) rate alongside the official one, with the spread between them — the number a person would actually transact at, not just the central-bank reference.
- One pair
- $0.01 per call
- All pairs
- $0.02 per call
- Street rate
- $0.01 per call (USD-NGN, USD-GHS)
- Payment
- USDC on Base, via the x402 protocol
Pay per call, nothing else
An agent requests a pair, gets an HTTP 402 price quote, pays the exact amount in USDC, and receives the data — one round trip, settled on Base. There is no signup, no key to manage, and no monthly minimum. It is built for software that buys data the moment it needs it.
Sourced and timestamped
Every answer carries its source and timestamp. Street rates are derived from live peer-to-peer order books, refreshed hourly. Where no meaningful parallel market exists for a currency, the feed says so instead of inventing a number.
