Wira Privacy Policy

Important truth first

Wira has two operating lanes now, and the privacy shape is different in each lane.

Wira Local is self-hosted and links to WhatsApp through a linked-device session on a machine the customer controls.
Wira Business is a hosted customer-facing deployment that can use the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API path and Ni Biashara-managed runtime infrastructure.

If you are evaluating Wira, make sure you know which lane you are talking about.

What Wira is

Wira is a WhatsApp AI assistant operated by Ni Biashara LLC. It can help with first replies, intake, repeated customer questions, and owner handoff workflows. It is not a payment processor, legal advisor, or replacement for business judgment.

What Wira does not do

Does not make payments or enter card data on your behalf
Does not promise refunds, contracts, legal terms, or regulated advice unless you explicitly wire a human-reviewed workflow for that
Does not sell your data for advertising
Does not automatically read group chats unless that behavior is explicitly enabled
Does not truthfully guarantee perfect answers when the business facts given to it are wrong or stale

Lane-specific privacy notes

Wira Local	Conversation memory and session artifacts stay on the customer's own machine unless the customer chooses a cloud provider for the language model.	If the machine is off, Wira is off. Local control is stronger, but uptime depends on the customer.
Wira Business	Conversation data and workflow state live in the hosted deployment used to run the assistant. Message content may flow through configured model providers and WhatsApp infrastructure needed to operate the service.	Uptime and business operations improve, but the privacy boundary is now a hosted service boundary rather than only the customer's laptop.

Third-party services

WhatsApp / Meta — Wira uses WhatsApp-linked device flows or the WhatsApp Business Cloud API depending on the lane.
Anthropic / OpenAI / other configured LLM providers — message text may be sent to the configured model provider to generate replies. Which provider is used depends on the deployment.
Stripe — billing and subscription processing.
Twilio — optional. Used only when the deployment explicitly includes Twilio for number leasing, SMS fallback, or voice routing.
Voice providers such as Vapi — optional. Only used if the business deployment includes voice flows.

Optional providers are not silently active just because they exist in the product universe. They are only part of your Wira setup if your deployment uses them.

Data retention

Wira Local stores conversation memory locally and can be pruned by deleting the local database files. Wira Business retains data within the hosted deployment as needed to operate the service, preserve context, and support the approved workflow.

Retention windows may differ by deployment. If you need a stricter retention policy, that needs to be agreed during business setup, not assumed afterward.

Security and operating guarantees

Approval policy can be configured so replies are drafted first instead of auto-sent
Hosted WhatsApp webhook handling is intended to run with signature verification and server-side credentials
Secrets stay in deployment configuration, not public client code
Wira should not be given authority to act outside the workflows you intentionally define

Security does not come from the word “AI.” It comes from narrow scopes, explicit policies, and not delegating risky actions casually.

AI disclosure

Wira is designed to sound like the business voice, not like a robotic menu. If a customer directly asks whether they are talking to AI, the truthful policy is to answer honestly.
